Situated among rugged mountains, lush green coffee plantations and overlooking evergreen valley of the Western Ghats in Karnataka State, South India, lies THE HONEYVALE ESTATE, one of the most picturesque and oldest Coffee Estates in India, covering over 200 acres of plantation and dating back to 18th Century.
Built and owned by the British is the beautiful colonial type heritage Bungalow with fireplace built more than 100 years ago by Sir J. H. Morgan. Nearby is a duplex cottage built on the highest point of the Estate with partially open bathrooms to create an ethnic and romantic staying experience.
Facilities :
Bungalow: - Five large double bedrooms, each with attached toilet, a large common Kitchen with cooks to prepare local food, a well stocked bar room, a large and stately common dining room to seat 12 persons, a common family room for entertainment with TV, video, DVD, satellite connection, an outdoor barbeque for open air party lovers.
Duplex Cottage: - Two large bedrooms, one on top of the other with attached ethnic partially open-air bathrooms. It is built on the highest vantage point of the estate offering panoramic view of the entire estate and qualifies to be a favorite spot for romantic tourists and honeymoon couples.
The Tree House: - Built very near and facing the bungalow, located 30 feet high above the ground. It can accommodate about 15 sitting people. From here you can savor the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains, valleys and of course the beautiful 120-year-old colonial bungalow and the beautiful cottage.
Restaurant: - Food can be prepared as per your choice and taste.
In the middle of the estate we have a beautiful 120 years old British Bungalow and we have 5 well appointed bed rooms with attached bathroom, also on the highest point of our estate we have a independent cottage with 2 bedroom and 1 partially open to sky attach bathroom. Totally we have 7 bedroom and 1 extra person in a bedroom we can easily accommodate 21 persons.
Activities - are Tractor ride(min 10 persons),camp fire with music once during the stay, work experience in the estate, River side picnic,Trekking,visit to tea garden and forest guest house.
All activities outside the estate, transportation in your vehicle. Our person will accompany you.
